How To File a Claim
Filing a claim has never been easier with our new online claim form. If there is any issue with your shipment – loss of goods, damage to items or packaging – you can fill out the following online form to initiate the claims process. A completed claim form must be submitted within 270 days of the delivery or loss of shipment to be valid. A submitted claim will be acknowledged within 30 days of receipt via email. All claims are processed within the order they are received.
In the claim form you will need to provide the following information:
- Shipment Details
- Customer / Shipper Account Information
- Recipient / Consignee Information
- A narrative statement of loss/damage of the shipment
In addition to the above, you will also need to provide supporting documentation of the shipment, such as:
- The bill of lading
- The paid freight (expense) bill
- The shipment invoice
- Documentation for the repair or salvage of goods
- Evidence indicating concealed damage that occurred during carrier’s handling of shipment (if applicable)
- Other supporting documents for claim indicating loss/damage (including inspection report, shipper’s house bill, delivery receipt)
