Airbill Detail
| Customer Ref #: | An alternate reference number provided by the customer. |
| Forward Air Airbill #: | The 8 digit Forward Air airbill number. |
| Orig: | The 3 letter city code for the originating Forward Air station. |
| Dest: | The 3 letter city code for the destination Forward Air station. |
| Tendered Weight: | The freight weight, in pounds (L), declared by the customer upon tendering the freight to Forward Air. |
| Chargeable Weight: | The freight weight, in
pounds (L), used by Forward Air for invoicing.
It will be noted if this weight represents the dimensional weight of the freight. If this is the dimensional weight as determined by Forward Air, then the dimensions of the freight will be displayed at the bottom of this page. A link will be provided to easily view this information. It will be noted if this weight represents a reweigh of the freight by Forward Air. |
| Estimated Charges/ Invoice Amount: | An estimate, if
available, of the expected invoice amount for the airbill. Estimated
Charges are subject to change. The actual invoiced amount may vary.
If the airbill has been invoiced, then the Invoice amount is displayed. The actual invoiced amount may vary from the displayed amount. |
| Current Status: | The current status of the airbill. It can either be Acknowledged, Received, Departed, Arrived, Arrived at Destination, Recovered or Invoiced. |
| Estimated Available: | The estimated date of availability for pickup in local time of the destination. It will be noted if this date has been adjusted by Forward Air. |
| Actual Available: | The actual date of availability for pickup in local time of the destination. |
| Received By: | The name of the Forward Air employee who received the freight from the customer. |
| Received On: | The date/time Forward Air received the freight from the customer. |
| Signed By: | The name of the person signing for POD (proof of delivery). |
| Delivered On: | The date the POD signature was obtained. |
Status History
This lists all statuses recorded for the airbill. It describes the movement of the airbill from the Forward Air origin station to the Forward Air destination station. It also describes the invoice history for the airbill. For each status update, the following information is recorded and displayed:
| Last Handled: | The Forward Air station that handled the airbill and recorded this status update. |
| Status: | The status recorded at the Forward Air station. It can either be Acknowledged, Received, Departed, Arrived, Arrived at Destination, Recovered or Invoiced. |
| Date/Time Performed: | The date and time when the status was recorded. |
| Performed By: | The Forward Air employee who recorded the status. |
| Act Pcs: | The piece count recorded for the status update. |
| Act Wgt: | The weight, in pounds, recorded for the status update. |
| Manifest #: | The Forward Air manifest number used to track the freight. If the status is Invoiced, this number represents the invoice number. |
Dimensions
Dimensions only display if the
Chargeable weight represents a dimensional weight calculation performed by
Forward Air. Each piece of the Freight
will fall into one of the listed dimensions (length x width x height).
Then those dimensions and the number of pieces fitting those dimensions
are used to calculate the dimensional weight. The sum of these dimensional
weights represents the chargeable weight of the airbill.
| Pieces: | The piece count of the freight that fits these dimensions. |
| Length x Width x Height: | The dimensions of the freight. |
| Weight: | The calculated dimensional weight of the freight in pounds. |
